In an exhilarating conclusion to the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season, Mohammedan SC and Punjab FC played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Monday. Mohammedan SC's season wrapped up with 13 points from 24 matches, while Punjab FC finished with 28 points.

Despite trailing by two goals at one stage, the Kolkata side mounted an impressive comeback in the second half. Punjab FC launched an effective attack, their penetrating passes leaving the Mohammedan defense scrambling. Asmir Suljic's astute play set up Ezequiel Vidal for the opener in the ninth minute, with Vidal instrumental again for the second goal, feeding Luka Majcen to increase the visitors' lead.

Mohammedan SC's Manvir Singh engineered a response with an incisive cross, leading to a crucial goal by Marc Schmerbock. The equalizer came from Robi Hansda, who capitalized on a Punjab defensive lapse. Khaiminthang Lhungdim's late attempt to reclaim the lead for Punjab was thwarted, culminating in both sides sharing the spoils.
