In a revealing analysis, former Chennai Super Kings batter Ambati Rayudu offered insights into Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj's challenging performance against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad. According to Rayudu, Siraj, who was acquired for Rs 12.25 crore, must revert to his natural bowling style to overcome his current struggles.

Leading up to the match, much anticipation surrounded Siraj, especially as he donned new team colors for the first time since leaving Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The excitement, however, quickly turned to disappointment as Punjab's Priyansh Arya launched a rapid assault against Siraj, who struggled to maintain control and presence on the field.

Rayudu, speaking to ESPNcricinfo, emphasized that Siraj seemed lost within an unfamiliar approach. He needs to focus on his innate inswing technique, occasionally pairing it with an unexpected outswing, for improved efficiency and effectiveness, after conceding 54 runs at an economy rate of 13.50.
