Brendan Taylor's Comeback: Zimbabwe's Struggle in Test Cricket

Brendan Taylor returns to cricket after a ban due to corruption charges. Zimbabwe faces New Zealand in a test series, struggling with their batting as they replace players and face seasoned New Zealand bowlers.

Brendan Taylor marked his re-entry into international cricket as Zimbabwe took on New Zealand in the second and final test match, post his 3 1/2-year ban for corruption charges.

The International Cricket Council had suspended Taylor in January 2022 after he admitted to accepting a bribe from Indian businessmen, under the suspicion of match-fixing, although Taylor denies ever fixing a match.

Struggling with a lackluster performance, Zimbabwe continues to face challenges, whereas New Zealand copes with missing star players and fielding a robust pace attack, highlighting their depth.
