In a thrilling display of resilience, Megha Ganne overcame a significant deficit to secure a place in the U.S. Women's Amateur championship match. She defeated Australia's Ella Scaysbrook in 19 holes after trailing by four with seven to play. This victory sets Ganne against Brooke Biermann in the final.

Biermann also faced pressure, barely maintaining her lead against Kansas junior Lyla Louderbaugh, who forced extra holes with clutch birdies. Biermann's composure under duress carried her through a 19-hole victory, showcasing her experience in handling pressure-laden moments.

This showdown between Ganne, who reached the semifinals in 2019, and Biermann, a recent Michigan State graduate, promises intensity and skill. The winner will earn an exemption into the U.S. Women's Open, highlighting the significance of this prestigious amateur event.
