In a display of commendable resilience, Indian golfer Diksha Dagar overcame a mid-round challenge to conclude the opening round of the PIF London Championship with a commendable 3-under 70. Her performance on the par-73 course at the Centurion Club placed her tied for 10th in this notable Ladies European Tour event, powered by two birdies in her final four holes.

Dagar's late surge contrast greatly with the mixed results from fellow Indian players. Aditi Ashok recorded an even-par 73, placing her at T-37 with four birdies juxtaposed against four bogeys. Pranavi Urs had an eventful yet challenging round of 75 (+2), while Avani Prashanth started steady but slipped to a 76 (+3) finish.

Atop the leaderboard, Alexandra Swayne from the U.S. Virgin Islands and Germany's Laura Funfstuck shared the lead, both delivering impressive rounds of 67 (-6) marked by eagles and birdies. Meanwhile, Team Nadaud surged to the top in the team event with an 18-under-par collective score, driven by a flawless bogey-free performance.
