Penge's Denmark Triumph: A Stroke of Victory

English golfer Marco Penge claimed victory at the Danish Golf Championship, narrowly beating Rasmus Hojgaard by one stroke. Hojgaard initially led but faltered, allowing Penge to claim the title after a decisive birdie on the 18th hole. Both golfers remain in the hunt for Ryder Cup spots.

English golfer Marco Penge clinched the Danish Golf Championship with a crucial birdie on the 18th hole, edging out Rasmus Hojgaard by a single stroke on Sunday.

Hojgaard had dominated early in his home country, commanding a four-shot lead before a series of misplays narrowed his advantage and allowed Penge to overtake him.

Penge's victory at Furesø Golf Klub, marking his second European tour win this year, tightens the race for Ryder Cup qualification, with Hojgaard still chasing an automatic spot.
