Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has secured his spot in the prestigious Diamond League 2025 Final, which is set to take place in Zurich, Switzerland, on August 27 and 28.
Chopra, the reigning world champion, opted out of the Diamond League Meeting in Silesia, Poland, on August 16. His participation in the Brussels leg on August 22 remains uncertain. Yet, thanks to his standings, he has already guaranteed his place in the final, according to the latest rankings post-Silesia meeting.
With a total of 15 points from two Diamond League events, accumulated from one title and one second-place finish, Chopra is ranked third. He trails behind Keshorn Walcott, who has 17 points, and Julian Weber, also with 15 points. The top six athletes after the Brussels leg will advance to the Zurich finale.
