Real Madrid's star winger Vinícius Júnior is set to make his comeback to the Brazilian national squad for a series of friendly matches in Asia, scheduled for October. The announcement was made by Coach Carlo Ancelotti in Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian team will face off against South Korea on October 10 and Japan four days later. However, Neymar has been excluded from the team list due to an unfortunate thigh injury, adding to Brazil's injury woes.
Alongside him, other key players such as Barcelona's Raphinha, Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos, and Liverpool's Alisson are also sidelined. Despite these setbacks, Vinícius' return is highly anticipated as he missed the previous World Cup qualifiers.
