In a display of grit and skill, Radha Yadav's outstanding half-century aided Royal Challengers Bengaluru in setting a challenging target of 182/7 against Gujarat Giants during the ninth match of the Women's Premier League 2026 at DY Patil Stadium on Friday.

Despite a stumbling start, with early losses including captain Smriti Mandhana, RCB saw a slump to 45/4. The team found stability through Yadav and wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh, who forged a critical 100-run partnership, reviving RCB's innings.

Yadav's 66 off 47 balls, combined with Ghosh's 44, steered RCB to a competitive total. Key bowlers Sophie Devine, Kashvee Gautam, and Renuka Singh contributed to the breakthrough moments, securing wickets in crucial phases despite the team's resilient comeback.
