In an electrifying finale at the Dakar Rally, Argentina's Luciano Benavides clinched a narrow victory in the motorcycle category, defeating American rival Ricky Brabec by just two seconds. This marks the closest margin in the rally's history.

Benavides, riding a KTM, finished second in the final stage but secured the overall win after Brabec lost his way near Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The two-week endurance event covered 8,000 kilometers and challenged riders across rugged terrains.

Benavides credited his unwavering belief for the success against seasoned competitors. Spaniard Tosha Schareina placed third, while Nasser Al-Attiyah pursued another victory in the car category. Despite injuries, Australia's Daniel Sanders completed the race, showcasing true grit and determination.
