N'Golo Kanté's much-anticipated transfer from Al-Ittihad to Fenerbahce is close to completion after overcoming some administrative hurdles. The deal seemed off earlier due to Fenerbahce blaming Al-Ittihad for a collapse in negotiations.
The sticking point was Fenerbahce's allegation about errors in the Transfer Matching System data submitted by the Saudi Arabian club, initially preventing the transfer within the registration period.
Despite complications, a resolution was reached with FIFA's intervention, and Al-Ittihad eventually announced they agreed to release Kanté. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce continues to strengthen their team with the addition of Mattéo Guendouzi, as they aim for domestic league glory.
