Devika Sihag, the newly-crowned Thailand Masters Super 300 champion, has attributed her breakthrough victory to the months of rigorous training alongside double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu and guidance from renowned Indonesian coach Irwansyah Adi Pratama.
Hailing from Haryana, the 20-year-old made history as the third Indian woman to win the Super 300 women's singles title after Saina Nehwal and Sindhu. Sihag explained how Sindhu's discipline and hard work served as a motivation for her own growth.
Devika, who aims to break into the top-30 in the BWF rankings by year-end, continues to find inspiration in players like Tai Tzu Ying and Sindhu.
