Ishan Kishan, the dynamic cricketer, has achieved a career-high second place in the ICC T20I rankings, closely trailing first-placed Abhishek Sharma by a mere four points. Kishan's remarkable performance during the T20 World Cup, where he amassed 317 runs, played a key role in his rise.
The latest ICC rankings publication also highlighted changes in the bowlers' list, with Afghanistan's Rashid Khan overtaking India's Varun Chakravarthy to claim the top position. Despite not playing any matches recently, Rashid's strong past performances secured him the premier spot.
Apart from Kishan, several other players made significant gains, including Tim Seifert and Jacob Bethell in the batting segment, and Adil Rashid, Jasprit Bumrah, and Axar Patel among bowlers. The T20I all-rounders rankings also saw shifts, with Sikandar Raza and Hardik Pandya reaching new career-high ratings this week.
