Alisson Becker, the Brazilian goalkeeper, will miss Brazil's upcoming international friendlies against France and Croatia due to injury, the Brazilian Football Federation announced on Friday.
The 33-year-old, initially included in the squad by coach Carlo Ancelotti, will now be replaced by Corinthians' Hugo Souza for the matches in Boston and Orlando on March 26 and March 31.
Alisson's absence extends to his club duties with Liverpool, forcing him to sit out the Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion. The goalkeeper's injury woes have disrupted his season, affecting Liverpool's quest for a top-four finish in the league.
