Pranavi Urs showcased her skills with a flawless 3-under 70 in the opening round of the Joburg Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour, positioning herself as the best among five competing Indians.

The day concluded with Urs Tied-21st at Randpark Golf Club, while her compatriots Tvesa Malik and Diksha Dagar shot 1-under 72 and shared the 54th spot. Avani Prashanth and Hitaashee Bakshi had less favorable rounds, posting 2-over 75 and 4-over 77, respectively, necessitating significant improvement to make the cut.

At one point, Malik was 4-under, but a string of challenging holes cost her. Dagar, ranked ninth on the LET Order of Merit, managed a mixed round featuring five birdies. The leaderboard was led by France's Agathe Laisne, America's Brianna Navarossa, and another French golfer, Ariane Klotz, all recording impressive 7-under 66 scores.
