In a heart-stopping encounter at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, NorthEast United FC triumphed over Inter Kashi with a gripping 3-2 win in the Indian Super League 2025-26, courtesy of Parthib Gogoi's decisive late strike.

The match initially saw Inter Kashi taking control, but NorthEast United struck first through Jithin MS just before halftime and extended their lead with Andy Rodriguez's penalty in the second half. Despite going down to ten men, Inter Kashi mounted a spirited comeback with goals from Sergio Llamas and Mohammed Asif.
