Kolkata Knight Riders' spin duo Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine delivered a masterclass in bowling, leading their team to a convincing seven-wicket triumph over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. The victory snapped SRH's five-match winning streak and marked KKR's third successive win.
Chakravarthy claimed 3/36, while Narine achieved a milestone by becoming the third player in IPL history to reach 200 wickets, joining an elite club with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal. Their efforts restricted SRH to 165 in 19 overs, after a strong start by SRH's Travis Head and Ishan Kishan.
In their chase, KKR lost an early wicket but were steadied by Ajinkya Rahane's 43 and Angkrish Raghuvanshi's 59, sealing the win with 10 balls to spare. Rinku Singh's unbeaten 22 guided KKR to victory, as SRH's mid-innings collapse handed them their first bowled-out of IPL 2026.
