Aitana Bonmatí made a significant comeback for Barcelona after a five-month injury absence, aiding her team's progress to the Women's Champions League final with a 4-2 triumph over Bayern Munich. Bonmatí entered the field as a substitute in the 68th minute, to the home fans' raucous applause.
The match saw Alexia Putellas score twice and goals from Salma Paralluelo and Ewa Pajor, giving Barcelona a 5-3 aggregate victory. Despite Bayern Munich's attempt at a comeback, with notable performances from Linda Dallmann and Pernille Harder, it wasn't enough to prevent defeat.
