In a Sunday showdown that electrified the Saudi Pro League, Al Qadsiah delivered a stunning 3-1 upset against front-runners Al Nassr at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium. This victory not only disrupted Al Nassr's campaign but also snapped their remarkable 20-game winning streak, injecting fresh tension into the title chase as the league nears its climax, ESPN reports.

Al Qadsiah set the tone early, with Mohammed Abu Al Shamat breaking the deadlock in the 24th minute, capitalizing on an unsteady Al Nassr defense. However, Al Nassr clawed back into the game before halftime, thanks to João Felix's equalizer at the 39-minute mark, leveling the sides at 1-1 as they headed into the interval. After the break, Al Qadsiah reclaimed ascendancy, with Musab Fahd Aljuwayr finding the net in the 55th minute following a well-coordinated midfield operation.

Despite Al Nassr's attempts for a comeback, Julian Quinones thwarted their efforts with a decisive goal in the 78th minute, securing a 3-1 victory for the home side. Al Qadsiah maintained control through the final moments, preserving their lead and solidifying their spot in the top quartet of the rankings, now at 68 points. Though Al Nassr still tops the table with 79 points, the gap narrows with Al Hilal and Al Ahli trailing closely, propelling the league into a fiercely competitive finale. Al Qadsiah's triumph boosts their quest for continental play, underscoring their formidable presence against the league's elite.
