Ambati Rayudu Takes Helm at Hyderabad Cricket Association

Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has been named the Head of Cricket Operations for the Hyderabad Cricket Association. Rayudu, who has represented India in 58 ODIs and six T20Is, aims to enhance the cricketing system and nurture local talent. His initial term is three years.

Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian international cricketer, has been appointed as the Head of Cricket Operations for the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). The appointment, made by Justice P Naveen Rao and the apex council, sees Rayudu stepping into a leadership role with immediate effect for a three-year term.

Rayudu, who captained the Hyderabad team in the past, expressed his commitment to improving the organization's functioning. 'I see this as a wonderful opportunity to clean up a few things within the system,' he stated, indicating an ambitious professional agenda.

The ex-cricketer is particularly enthusiastic about leveraging the region's rich talent pool. 'Hyderabad and Telangana have immense potential to cultivate players capable of representing India at the highest level,' Rayudu added.
