Rajat Patidar's remarkable 93-run innings off just 33 balls propelled Royal Challengers Bengaluru into the final as they triumphed over Gujarat Titans by 92 runs. This victory marks their consecutive appearance in the championship showdown.

Exploiting a strategic error by Gujarat's management, RCB set a daunting 254 for 5 in their allotted overs. Patidar, displaying his prowess with nine towering sixes and five boundaries, decimated Gujarat's bowling, including a costly over by newcomer Kulwant Khejroliya, who was unexpectedly selected over Arshad Khan.

Seasoned players Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya each contributed solidly with 43 runs, while Jason Holder managed to secure two wickets for 39 runs.

Chasing the massive target, Gujarat Titans faltered during the powerplay, losing key players Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler, leading to their eventual collapse at 162 in 19.3 overs. Despite a valiant effort by Rahul Tewatia, scoring 68 from 43 balls, GT could not reach the set target.

The brief scores highlight RCB's commanding performance with Patidar's unbeaten 93, supported by Kohli and Pandya, alongside a disciplined bowling effort featuring Jacob Duffy's 3/39 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 2/28.
