Yuki Bhambri, alongside partner Alexandra Panova, secured a place in the French Open mixed doubles pre-quarterfinals after outlasting their opponents in straight sets. Their victory in a fiercely contested match saw them defeat the Dutch-Ukrainian duo of David Pel and Lyudmyla Kichenok.
Despite losing the first set, Anirudh Chandrasekar and Takeru Yuzuki battled hard but eventually bowed out in the men's doubles. They made a strong comeback in the second set but were ultimately overpowered by the Swiss-British combination of Jakub Paul and Marcus Willis in the deciding tie-break. Yuki and Alexandra will now meet the fourth-seeded pair, Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski, in the next round.
