The Indian women's 4x100m relay team achieved a remarkable feat by securing a silver medal at the 22nd Asian U-20 Athletics Championships held in Hong Kong. The team, which set a new national record with a timing of 45.05 seconds, included Kajal Vala from Gujarat, who was praised for her pivotal contribution.

Kajal's impressive performance was highlighted by Gujarat's Deputy Chief Harsh Sanghavi, who oversees the sports sector in the state. He recognized the achievement as a significant moment for Gujarat and India, reflecting the government's commitment to nurturing sports talent.

The team, composed of athletes from various Indian states including Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, exemplified outstanding teamwork.
