Indian badminton doubles stalwarts Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will lead India’s charge alongside PV Sindhu at the Indonesia Open 2026. The prestigious tournament, which kicks off Tuesday, comes days after the duo's remarkable victory at the Singapore Open, marking their first BWF World Tour title since 2024.

In a thrilling men’s doubles final, the pair pulled off a come-from-behind victory against Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Fikri. Despite losing the first game, they rallied to win 18-21, 21-17, 21-16, etching their names in history as the first Indian duo to win the Singapore Open.

On the women's singles front, PV Sindhu showcased a promising return to form, defeating high-ranked players before bowing out in the quarter-finals to Olympic champion An Se-young. The Indian contingent, featuring notable players across all categories, aims for a strong showing in Jakarta.
