Jhon Arias netted two crucial goals as Colombia triumphed over Jordan with a decisive 2-0 victory in San Diego. The match, which served as a final preparation before the World Cup, saw Arias scoring with an assist from James Rodríguez in the 41st minute.
Returning with confidence in the second half, Arias capitalized on a cross from Santiago Arias, securing his second goal. Jordan struggled to find rhythm throughout the game, with their midfielder Amer Jamous receiving a second yellow card, leading to his ejection in stoppage time.
This win marks Colombia's second consecutive victory, following a 3-1 win against Costa Rica. They now look forward to facing Uzbekistan on June 17 in Mexico City, while Jordan prepares to go up against Austria in the San Francisco Bay Area.
