Inter Milan has officially signed midfielder Curtis Jones from Liverpool on a contract lasting until June 2031, as announced by the Serie A club this past Friday. While financial specifics remain undisclosed, reports suggest a deal worth approximately €35 million, inclusive of performance-related bonuses.

Leaving Liverpool after a remarkable 16-year journey, Jones steps away from the club he joined at the tender age of nine. Having secured 228 first-team appearances, Jones's tenure saw him notch up 22 goals and clinch six major trophies, among them two Premier League titles and the prestigious Champions League.

The England international, despite featuring 49 times in various competitions last season, was unable to firmly establish a regular starting position within Liverpool's midfield. At Inter's iconic San Siro Stadium, Jones will collaborate with fellow English players, John Stones and Djed Spence, as the defending Italian champions look to enhance their squad for the upcoming season.
