* Led Swansea to promotion from the Championship (second division) via the playoffs in his first season. * Guided Swansea to a respectable 11th place finish in the 2011-2012 Premier League season, their first campaign at the highest level since 1983.

* Named Liverpool manager in June 2012, replacing club legend Kenny Dalglish. * Guided Liverpool to a second-place finish in the 2013-14 Premier League season, with the team scoring 101 goals. It was their highest finish since 2008-09.

* Sacked by Liverpool eight games into the 2015-16 season with the five-times European champions 10th in the league. * Appointed Celtic boss on a 12-month rolling contract in May 2016 to replace Ronny Deila.

* Rewarded with a new four-year contract up to 2021 after winning the Scottish Premiership in his first season, with the club going on to finish the league campaign unbeaten. * Having guided Celtic to the Scottish League Cup, Rodgers oversaw success in the Scottish Cup to seal a domestic treble for only the fourth time in the club's history.
