The Pittsburgh Steelers, after trading disgruntled star receiver Antonio Brown this week, signed wideout Donte Moncrief to a two-year contract on Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Moncrief spent last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching 48 passes for 668 yards and three touchdowns. Moncrief, a third-round pick in the 2014 draft, spent his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. He has career totals of 200 catches for 2,543 yards and 21 touchdowns.

In Pittsburgh, he joins JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is expected to have an even bigger role after leading the team in receptions (111) and receiving yards (1,426) last season. The Steelers also have James Washington, Ryan Switzer, Eli Rogers, among others, in their receiving corps. Rogers signed a new two-year deal Thursday. Rogers suffered an ACL tear in the Steelers' divisional playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in January 2018 and was limited to 12 receptions in three games last season.

His best season came as a rookie in 2016, when he recorded 48 receptions for 594 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games. Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders.
