Soccer-Barca seal La Liga crown with victory over Levante

Barcelona beat Levante 1-0 in front of a jubilant Nou Camp crowd on Saturday to clinch their eighth La Liga title in 11 years and 26th overall after captain Lionel Messi came off the bench to score the winning goal.

Barca leads the standings on 83 points after 35 games, an unassailable nine clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid with three matches left because they have a superior head-to-head record with Atleti this season.
