India beat WI by 59 runs, takes 1-0 series lead
India took a 1-0 lead in the series as it beats West Indies by 59 runs in the rain-curtailed second ODI in Trinidad. Virat Kohli scored his 67th international hundred with a score of 120. India posted 279 runs for West Indies to chase and wrapped up the match in 42 overs on DLS with Bhuvneshwar Kumar grabbing 4/31 and Mohammad Shami 2/39.
Earlier Virat Kohli's 120 and Shreyas Iyer's 71 formed the bulk of India's 279/7 which looked chaseable while Evin Lewis (65) and Nicholas Pooran (42) were at the crease and batting well before both gave it away, and sensational bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar blew away West Indies's tail.
