Report: Jets G Osemele to have shoulder surgery

New York Jets guard Kelechi Osemele will have surgery to repair his shoulder, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday. The two-time Pro Bowl selection has been sidelined since the Week 3 loss at New England. No timetable for his return was immediately available.

Osemele, 30, is in his first season with the Jets after three years with the Oakland Raiders (2016-18) and four with the Baltimore Ravens (2012-15). He has played in 96 career games, all starts. He was Baltimore's second-round pick in 2012 and helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII as a rookie.
