President Donald Trump plans to attend Game 5 of the World Series, scheduled for Sunday night at Nationals Park in Washington, he said Thursday. Of course, there is no certainty there will be a game that night with the Washington Nationals holding a 2-0 lead over the Houston Astros in the best-of-seven series. Houston needs to win at least one of the next two games for there to be a contest on Sunday.

Trump won't be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, according to the Nationals. "They got to dress me up in a lot of heavy armor," Trump said in reference to a bullet-proof vest. "I'll look too heavy. I don't like that."

Six different sitting presidents have thrown out the first pitch at a World Series game. Woodrow Wilson was the first when he threw the pitch in 1915. Calvin Coolidge (1924, 1925) and Herbert Hoover (1929, 1930) handled the duties twice, while Dwight Eisenhower (1955), Jimmy Carter (1979) and George W. Bush (2001) also have performed the task.

Bush's first pitch is arguably the most famous of them all. The 43rd president took the mound and fired a strike at New York's Yankee Stadium just months after the 9-11 terror attacks.
