Oakland Raiders right tackle Trent Brown has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, the team announced Friday. Brown sustained a pectoral injury in last Sunday's 40-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

"He's had several injuries this year and he's just not ready to go right now," Raiders coach Jon Gruden said of Brown, who left the Raiders' 31-24 home victory on Nov. 3 against the Detroit Lions with a knee injury. Brandon Parker will start in Brown's place. He will be backed up by David Sharpe.

"We're going to miss Trent, obviously, but it's a good opportunity for Brandon," added Gruden, who wasn't sure how long Brown will be out. Brown, who turned 26 in April, received a four-year, $66 million deal from the Raiders in the offseason with $36.75 million in guarantees, making him the league's highest-paid offensive lineman.

Also ruled out for the Raiders are linebacker Kyle Wilber and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, while rookie running back Josh Jacobs (fractured right shoulder) is listed as questionable on the injury report. --Field Level Media
