The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Jordan Bell and signed free agent forward Anthony Tolliver to a 10-day contract, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Monday. Bell, 25, has averaged 3.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 29 games with Minnesota and Memphis this season. The Timberwolves traded him to Houston in a four-team deal on Feb. 5, and the Rockets dealt him to the Grizzlies the following day.
Bell played his first two seasons with Golden State and won a championship with the Warriors as a rookie in 2017-18. He has career averages of 3.8 points and 3.1 boards in 154 games (16 starts). Tolliver, 34, has averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 42 games this season with Portland and Sacramento. The Kings acquired him in a trade with the Trail Blazers on Jan. 21 and waived him on Saturday.
The Grizzlies will be the 10th team for Tolliver, who has career averages of 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 706 games (101 starts). --Field Level Media
