Realme Band 2 India launch set for September 24

The Realme Band 2, which debuted in Malaysia earlier this week, is now all set to launch in India. The latest fitness tracker from the Chinese company will arrive alongside the Realme Narzo 50 series and Realme Smart TV Neo on September 24th, at 12:30 PM.

The Realme Band 2 is priced at MYR 139 (approx. Rs. 2,500) in Malaysia and is expected to carry the same price tag in the Indian market as well.

Realme Band 2: Specifications and features

The Realme Band 2 sports a 1.4-inch touchscreen with 167 x 320-pixels resolution and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The fitness band supports over 50 personalised dial faces and is accompanied by interchangeable wrist straps.

Powered by the GH3011 sensor, the band supports continuous heart-rate monitoring and also alert users if the heart rate goes above the safety zone. It also tracks blood oxygen levels (SpO2), sleep quality and features up to 90 different sports modes such as Yoga, Cricket, Basketball, walking, cycling and swimming, etc., which will be available via over-the-air (OTA) update.

The Realme Band 2 is water-resistant up to 50 metres and is equipped with a 204mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 12 days on a single charge. The band is compatible with smartphones running at least Android 5.1 or iOS 11 and supports Bluetooth v5.1 for wireless connectivity.
