(Updated) iQOO Z5 5G first look revealed in new teaser poster; India launch happening soon

In India, the iQOO Z5 5G will be available for purchase via Amazon as the e-commerce giant has started teasing the device as "coming soon" with no details regarding the exact launch date.

iQOO is gearing up to launch its new smartphone - the iQOO Z5 5G - in China on September 23rd. Touted as the ultimate device for ultra gaming and extreme performance, the smartphone will also launch in India soon, the company has confirmed in a teaser poster that also gives us our first look at the upcoming gaming flagship.

The teaser poster confirms the presence of a triple camera setup aligned vertically at the back and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As far as the pricing is concerned, a recent report by GSMArena said that the iQOO Z5 will be priced under Rs 30,000 in India. 

Update: The iQOO Z5 will be launched in India on 27th September at 12 PM, the company confirmed in a tweet on Monday.

iQOO Z5: Specifications

As already confirmed by the company, the iQOO Z5 will come with a 120Hz display with a punch-hole at the centre and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G Mobile Platform. The processor will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage.

The iQOO Z5 5G will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver 96 hours of music playback, 10.4 hours of gaming, and 18.3 hours of video playback on a single charge. Other confirmed features include 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10 support, Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless support.
