Organize chats and find messages quickly with WhatsApp Chat Filters

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called Chat Filters that lets you find the right conversation quickly and easily, without having to scroll through the full inbox. The new filters will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.

With just a tap you can select one of the following three filters to find messages on WhatsApp:

• All: This filter shows the default view of all your messages.
• Unread: It shows messages that are either marked as unread or haven’t been opened yet. This filter is ideal when you want to see which conversations you need to catch up on or respond to.
• Groups: This highly-requested filter organizes all your group chats, including subgroups within Communities, in one place, making it easier to find your favorite ones when needed.

"We believe filters will make it easier for people to stay organized and find their most important conversations and help navigate through messages more efficiently. We’ll continue to build more options to help you focus on what matters most," WhatsApp wrote in a blog post on Tuesday.
