A comprehensive nationwide survey of over 6,000 technology professionals has unveiled the evolving compensation and benefits strategies crucial for attracting and retaining top talent in India's tech industry. The 2024 Compensation and Benefits Survey by ANSR and Talent500 reveals that more than 80% of Indian tech professionals prioritize improvements in their compensation and benefits packages, with an increasing focus on well-being and career development.

The survey indicates that flexibility and well-being are essential for employee satisfaction, with 77% of tech professionals favoring hybrid work arrangements and 82% viewing well-being benefits as non-negotiable. Additionally, addressing compensation inequities remains critical, as over 60% of employees feel unfairly compensated, highlighting significant pay disparities, particularly gender-based gaps.

Learning and Development (L&D) programs are also emphasized, with over 90% of respondents considering them indispensable for career growth. The survey underscores the need for hyper-personalized benefits and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to foster long-term commitment.
