Bangladesh student protest coordinators have issued a call for the establishment of an interim government headed by Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus, according to a video released on Facebook early Tuesday.
Simultaneously, the Bangladesh army chief is scheduled to meet with the protest leaders at 12 pm local time (0600 GMT) on Tuesday, the army announced in a separate statement.
