In a bid to crack down on bulk voice calls, TRAI has demanded immediate action from stakeholders, especially access service providers and their telemarketing partners. Key measures include implementing technical solutions for traceability and preventing bulk calls by business clients using 10-digit numbers.
The meeting also delved into the misuse of headers and content templates, as well as the control of various types of promotional calls. A significant focus was placed on transitioning enterprise customers to the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform to ensure compliance with TRAI regulations.
