India's Sagar Defence Partners with Boeing's Liquid Robotics for Scaled USV Systems
India's Sagar Defence has announced a partnership with Liquid Robotics, a subsidiary of Boeing, for the co-development and co-production of Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) systems. The collaboration aims to bolster undersea domain awareness for the Indian Navy and advance India's vision of self-reliance in defence.

India's Sagar Defence announced on Tuesday a strategic partnership with Liquid Robotics, a Boeing subsidiary, for the co-development and co-production of scaled Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) systems.
The news comes just days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden discussed the collaboration in Wilmington, expressing support for the initiative.
The two companies have signed an exclusive teaming agreement, aiming to enhance undersea domain awareness for the Indian Navy through these advanced USV systems. Implementation is expected to commence next year.
