Prime Ministers Narendra Modi of India and Pedro Sanchez of Spain are set to unveil the Tata-Airbus factory in Vadodara on October 28, in a move that signifies strengthening ties between the two nations.

This milestone aligns with India's 'Make in India' campaign, facilitating indigenous aircraft production. Launched by both leaders, the venture comes two years after Modi laid its foundation stone in 2022.

The Tata-Airbus project will locally manufacture C-295 transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force, replacing outdated Avro-748 planes, marking the first time a private Indian company has partnered for military aircraft production.
