Gmail is facing outage in parts of Europe and India with users reporting '404 Error' while trying to open the site. Users in India are also reporting an outage with their Gmail. Users on Twitter and Down Detector are reporting seeing 'Error 404' messages when they try to access Gmail. The issue appears to be affected UK users particularly – one Twitter poster based in Yorkshire wrote: "There's definitely a problem. Hope it will be sorted soon as I need to use email."

One user asked Google, "Can you please give us estimate time.?". He also reported that Gmail mobile app is also not working.

According to Downdetector.com, the Gmail is having issues since 4:46 PM IST, Tuesday. The 42 percent reported the log-in problem, while 31 per cent users reported they could not receive messages. About 25 percent users reported a problem with the website.

Google has not confirmed the outage till now though users have taken to Twitter to report the '404 Error' with Gmail.
