Horse Powertrain, a global leader in hybrid and combustion powertrain solutions, has announced its entry into the burgeoning Indian automotive market. This strategic move coincides with the proposed India–EU Free Trade Agreement, expected to foster technology collaboration and fortify supply chains with Indian Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

India, one of the fastest-growing automotive markets worldwide, is undergoing a significant shift towards cleaner and more efficient mobility solutions. Horse Powertrain's entry is well-timed with India's regulatory push under BS-VI emission norms and CAFE targets, which are urging manufacturers to slash fleet emissions and enhance fuel efficiency. This evolving landscape is generating substantial demand for flex-fuel, hybrid, and low-emission powertrain technologies.

At the ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, Horse Powertrain will showcase its innovative solutions aimed at supporting OEMs during this transition. Offerings include scalable technologies such as the HORSE H12 for mild hybrid vehicles and the HORSE M20 for pure combustion or REEV applications. These solutions are crafted to provide Indian manufacturers with fast, cost-effective integration, steering India towards a cleaner and more sustainable automotive future.
