Dutch chipmaker Nexperia's Chinese subsidiary experienced minimal disruptions after losing access to IT systems, a situation stemming from a 2025 conflict involving the Dutch government's intervention to prevent the company from relocating operations to China. Talks have been urged to resolve the conflict involving Chinese parent company Wingtech.

Dutch chipmaker Nexperia reported that its Chinese subsidiary had faced minimal disruption following the disabling of access to certain IT systems and software last week.
The company urged its subsidiary and the parent company, Wingtech, to engage in discussions to address and resolve the ongoing conflict.
This conflict originates from a standoff since October 2025, when the Dutch government intervened to prevent Nexperia from transferring its operations to China.
