IT giant Wipro announced the establishment of its AI-Native Business and Platforms unit on Wednesday, marking a significant step in its technological evolution.

Nagendra Bandaru, a veteran at Wipro, assumes the CEO position of the new unit, triggering a reshuffle that sees former Accenture executive Kanwar Singh stepping into Bandaru's previous role.

This strategic move is aimed at capitalizing on AI-led platform growth, strengthening Wipro's 'services as software' approach, while also creating a leadership transition. Suzanne Dann's departure is also noted as part of these changes.
