Eskom’s Rotek Industries Johnny Dladla has resigned as Chief Executive Officer.

Dladla, who has 23 years of experience, is set to leave Eskom’s subsidiary at the end of October to pursue private business interests.

“His successor will be announced in due course,” said the power utility on Monday.

Of Dladla’s 23 year experience, 17 were in various non-regulated businesses within Eskom, while five years were dedicated as Chief Executive Officer of Eskom Enterprises and its subsidiaries. 

He was appointed interim group CEO of Eskom Holdings between June and October 2017.

Eskom’s Group Chief Executive Phakamani Hadebe thanked Dladla for his efforts in helping to stabilise Eskom while wishing him well in his new endeavours.
