Royal Dutch Orchestra fires chief conductor amid harassment allegations
The chief conductor at Amsterdam's renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Daniele Gatti, has been fired because of allegations of sexual harassment, the orchestra said on Thursday. Gatti dismissed the allegations as a "smear campaign" and said he had asked his lawyers to protect his reputation.

Chris Rock to star in the new season of FX crime drama 'Fargo'
Comedian Chris Rock will star in a fourth season of the FX network's Emmy-winning crime drama "Fargo" in a story about two 1950s crime families that have traded their eldest sons, the network announced on Friday. Los Angeles prosecutors reviewing sex assault case involving Backstreet Boys' Carter
The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office said on Thursday that prosecutors were reviewing a sexual assault case involving Backstreet Boys' singer Nick Carter. The case was presented to the district attorney's office on Tuesday by the Santa Monica Police Department, said Greg Risling, a spokesman for the Los Angeles District Attorney. He did not provide any other details.
Celebrity rappers ordered held in custody for a month pending trial after French airport brawl
French judges ruled on Saturday that two celebrity rappers should be held in custody ahead of their trial in a month's time following a brawl in the departure lounge of a Paris airport earlier this week. The two, Booba, 41, and Kaaris, 38, were arrested on Wednesday in the aftermath of a fight between their respective entourages, during which punches and kicks were exchanged and bottles containing perfume were thrown, sending other passengers scurrying for safety.
