Google Doodle celebrates Oskar Schlemmer’s 130th Birthday

Google Doodle is celebrating the 130th birth anniversary of German painter, sculptor, designer and choreographer Oskar Schlemmer. He was associated with the Bauhaus school of art and is most vividly remembered for his "Triadisches Ballet" where the performers are seen converting into geometrical figurines from normal beings.

His ideas were complex and hard to decipher. He infamously rejected the absolute abstract and brought about a sensuous human touch to his near-to-abstract characters and subjects.
