Gold futures ease on low demand

Gold futures on Thursday fell 0.62 per cent to Rs 50,011 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on low spot demand

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for December delivery declined Rs 314, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 50,011 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 7,335 lots

Gold was trading 0.73 per cent down at USD 1,860.30 per ounce in New York.
